This carnivorous plant substrate is lighter weight and holds more water. It is a mix of: sphagnum peat, live sphagnum moss, red seachem flourite, bio-stratum, aragonite, small riverstone, and sand. 
 
Quantity is measured by dry volume measuring cup starting with 1/4 cup up to 2 cups. If combined with a live product order, substrate may be shipped separately. 
 
This is the substrate mix used to pot our pinguiculas sold for shipping , since it is a lighter mix that incorporates peat moss and live sphagnum moss which is less damaging to potted plants during transit.
